The Committee discussed Korea's Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management and its subordinate legislation under preparation, the quantity of sample collection for testing on high value products, the progress of the import approval procedure on EU beef, the EU's request to apply regionalisation principles and to lift the import bans on pork from Poland and poultry and poultry products from certain EU Member States, the “born and raised” clause in the bilateral sanitary protocols between EU Member States and Korea and the EU exports of non-pasteurized cheese to Korea, Korean exports of chicken-ginseng soup and live olive flounder to the EU and EU Member States' standards for iodine content in seaweeds.
Le comité a débattu de la loi spéciale coréenne sur la gestion de la sécurité des aliments importés et de la législation secondaire en cours de préparation, de la quantité d’échantillons collectés pour effectuer des tests sur des produits de haute valeur, des progrès de la procédure d’approbation de l’importation sur le bœuf de l’Union, de la demande de l’Union d’appliquer les principes de régionalisation et de lever l’interdiction d’importation sur le porc provenant de Pologne et sur la volaille et les produits à base de volaille issus de certains États membres de l’UE, de la clause «né et élevé» des protocoles sanitaires bilatéraux entre les États membres de l’UE et la Corée, ainsi que des exportations européennes de fromage non pasteurisé en Corée, des exportations coréennes de soupe au poulet et au ginseng et de cardeau hirame vivant dans l’Union et des normes des États membres de l’UE relatives à la teneur en iode des algues.

As regards Regulation (EC) No 517/94, in order to ensure the appropriate functioning of the system for the management of imports of certain textile products not covered by bilateral agreements, protocols or other arrangements, or by other specific Union import rules, the power to adopt acts in accordance with Article 290 TFEU should be delegated to the Commission in respect of necessary changes to the annexes to that Regulation. Moreover, implementing powers should be conferred on the Commission to adopt the measures necessary for the implementation of that Regulation in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 182/2011.
En ce qui concerne le règlement (CE) n° 517/94, afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement du système de gestion des importations de certains produits textiles non couverts par des accords, protocoles ou autres arrangements bilatéraux, ou par d’autres régimes spécifiques d’importation de l’Union, il convient de déléguer à la Commission le pouvoir d’adopter des actes conformément à l’article 290 du traité aux fins des modifications qu’il est nécessaire d’apporter aux annexes de ce règlement.De plus, il cinvient de conférer des compétences d'exécution à la Commission afin d'adopter des mesures nécessaires à l'exécution de ce règlement conformément au règlement (UE) n° 182/2011.

As regards Liechtenstein, this Decision constitutes a development of the provisions of the Schengen acquis within the meaning of the Protocol between the European Union, the European Community, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein on the accession of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Agreement between the European Union, the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on the Swiss Confederation’s association with the implementation, application and development of the Schengen acquis which fall within the area referred to in Article 1, point B of Decision 1999/437/EC read in conjunction with Article 3 of Council Decision 2008/261/EC on the signature, on behalf of the European Community, and on the provisional application of certain provisions of that Protocol.
En ce qui concerne le Liechtenstein, la présente décision constitue un développement des dispositions de l’acquis de Schengen au sens du protocole entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne, la Confédération suisse et la Principauté de Liechtenstein sur l’adhésion de la Principauté de Liechtenstein à l’accord entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne et la Confédération suisse sur l’association de la Confédération suisse à la mise en œuvre, à l’application et au développement de l’acquis de Schengen, qui relève du domaine visé à l’article 1er, point B, de la décision 1999/437/CE en liaison avec l’article 3 de la décision 2008/261/CE du Conseil relative à la signature, au nom de la Communauté européenne, et à l’application provisoire de certaines dispositions dudit protocole.

As regards Liechtenstein, this Directive constitutes — to the extent that it applies to third-country nationals who do not fulfil or who no longer fulfil the conditions of entry in accordance with the Schengen Borders Code — a development of provisions of the Schengen acquis within the meaning of the Protocol between the European Union, the European Community, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein on the accession of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Agreement between the European Union, the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on the Swiss Confederation’s association with the implementation, application and development of the Schengen acquis, which fall within the area referred to in Article 1, point C, of Decision 1999/437/EC read in conjunction with Article 3 of Council Decision 2008/261/EC on the signature, on behalf of the European Community, and on the provisional application of, certain provisions of that Protocol,
