At the end of that course, they are selected to either go into a first officer's position or on to a cruise relief pilot position on one of the wide-body aircraft. In all cases, from the time that the pilot is hired until he retires, Air Canada pays for training, whether it is training on a new aircraft type, which we refer to as transition training, or recurrent training that we conduct on pilots every year.
