19. Where the amount payable by way of an annuity or annuities to an employee who is registered under an annuity contract mentioned in subsection 6(3) of the Act is increased and that increase is purchased with moneys that have been paid by the employer pursuant to the contract and that would otherwise be refundable under the contract to the employer without interest, the total amount payable by way of an increased annuity or increased annuities may exceed the maximum permitted by subsection 6(1) of the Government Annuities Improvement Act.
19. 12. Notwithstanding subsection 10(1) the Government Annuities Act, where an annuity contract is a registered retirement savings plan within the meaning of the Income Tax Act or is under a registered pension fund or plan within the meaning of the Income Tax Act, any monies payable under that contract may, at the request of the annuitant or, if the annuitant is dead, at the request of the beneficiary, be paid to another registered retirement savings plan within the meaning of the Income Tax Act or to another registered pension fund or plan within the meaning of the Income Tax Act.
12. where it is reasonable to conclude that the purpose of the undertaking or the making of the annuity payment is to supplement benefits provided under either an annuity contract to which subsection 147.4(1) or paragraph 254(a) applied or a group annuity contract that had been issued under, or pursuant to, a registered pension plan that has wound up;
