The Management Board will be advised by a scientific committee on technical training issues (Scientific Committee for Training).

Funding provided will contribute to the participation of approximately 15 experts per year – with an emphasis on women and developing countries – in CDI scientific and technical training courses.

So it is desirable to simplify the administration of this directive and its updating to bring it into line with scientific and technical progress, in particular if the minimum requirements for training courses are to be coordinated to allow automatic recognition of qualifications.
