My concern is that if the globalization of capital is a reality, as we're being told—and as other people have said, we aren't against trade, obviously—then if one of the secondary goals should be to try to harmonize other people to our quality of life and our standard of living, how do you rationalize the move, the very deliberate move, to dismantle the only tool working people have to redistribute the wealth in this culture, by tearing that down with the right-to-work legislation?
Ce qui est m'inquiète, c'est que si la mondialisation du capital est une réalité, comme on nous le dit—et comme d'autres, nous ne nous opposons manifestement pas au commerce—, si donc un des objectifs secondaires devrait être d'amener d'autres populations à bénéficier de la même qualité de vie et du même niveau de vie que nous avons, comment peut-on alors justifier l'effort, l'effort délibéré déployé pour éliminer le seul moyen qu'ont les travailleurs pour redistribuer la richesse chez nous, pour faire disparaître cet outil avec une législation en matière de droit au travail?
