We have a chance in this body to encourage some sense of getting ahead of the curve, advancing the proposition and putting the idea before the government in a sustained and constructive way for their consideration prior to the Canada-EU summit scheduled for June.
Au Sénat, nous avons la possibilité de tenter de convaincre le gouvernement d'anticiper les choses, de faire progresser la proposition et de lui présenter l'idée d'une manière bien étayée et constructive pour qu'il l'étudie avant le sommet entre le Canada et l'Union européenne prévu en juin.
