In Bill C-27, we are asking that the WMO come forward with three proposals: First, the disposal of waste in granitic rocks of the Canadian Shield, and they would only come forward with that if it were acceptable; second, centralized storage either on surface or below surface, and Sweden has implemented that at this time; and third, long-term surface storage at the reactor sites.
