Therefore, the report recommends that Canada improve the process by which we report to treaty bodies to which we are a party, improve the manner in which the treaty-making process progresses, strengthen or replace existing mechanisms of treaty implementation and explore the possibility of creating a new structure where we would debate whether this country should be a party to a given treaty.
