The Commission has approved a proposed Italian Government aid scheme for promoting research at ENEL into the development of an ultra high voltage (UHV) electricity transformation and distribution system (1 000 kV or more) (ENEL is an Italian state owned company engaged in the generation and distribution of electricity.) The financial assistance will be granted from the Applied Research Fund (Fondo per la ricerca applicata), the replenishment of which was approved by the Commission on 19 April 1990.
La Commission a approuvé un projet d'aide du gouvernement italien visant à favoriser la recherche de ENEL pour la mise au point d'un système de transformation et transport d'énergie électrique à très haute tension (1.000 kV ou plus) (Ultra High Voltage - UHV) (ENEL est une entreprise appartenant à l'état italien qui s'occupe de la production et de la distribution de l'énergie electrique). L'intervention financière publique se fait dans le cadre du "Fondo per la ricerca applicata", dont le refinancement a été approuvé par la Commission le 19.04.1990.
