Regulation (EU) No 605/2010 of 2 July 2010 laying down animal and public health and veterinary certification conditions for the introduction into the European Union of raw milk and dairy products intended for human consumption provides that consignments of raw milk and dairy products intended for human consumption, authorised for importation into the Union, are to be accompanied by a health certificate drawn up in accordance with the appropriate model set out in Part 2 of Annex II thereto for the commodity concerned (‘the model health certificates’).

For a transitional period until 14 March 2015, the introduction into the Union of consignments of commodities covered by Regulation (EC) No 798/2008, accompanied by a veterinary certificate completed in accordance with the appropriate model veterinary certificates BPP, BPR, DOC, DOR, HEP, HER, SRP, SRA, POU, RAT and E set out in Part 2 of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 798/2008, in their versions prior to the amendments made by Article 1 of this Regulation, shall continue to be authorised, provided that the veterinary health certificate was signed before 14 January 2015.

Under Annexes V and VII to the Agreement, consignments of live animals and of animal products for which equivalence has been determined for either animal or public health measures, but not for both, may be imported into the Union, provided that the applicable additional non-equivalence attestations from the veterinary certificates laid down in accordance with the models set out in the relevant Union legislation on veterinary import certification appear on the model health certificate.

Annex V to the Agreement provides that consignments of live animals and animal products for which equivalence has not been determined, may be imported into the Union when accompanied by the veterinary certificates laid down in accordance with the models set out in the relevant Union legislation on veterinary import certification or with the prevailing national health conditions of the Member States, pending adoption of harmonised Union rules in this respect.

4. For consignments of live feral pigs complying with the conditions of the derogation provided for in paragraph 3, the following additional wording shall be added to the corresponding veterinary documents and/or health certificates referred to in Article 5(1) of Directive 64/432/EEC and Article 3(1) of Decision 93/444/EEC: ‘Pigs in compliance with Article 15(3) of Commission Implementing Decision 2014/709/EU’.
4.
