IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Decision ECB/2013/28 of 29 August 2013 on the national central banks’ percentage shares in the key for subscription to the European Central Bank’s capital (1) provides for the adjustment of the key for subscription to the capital of the European Central Bank (ECB) (hereinafter ‘capital key’) in accordance with Article 29.3 of the Statute of the European System of Central Banks and of the European Central Bank and establishes, with effect from 1 January 2014, new weightings assigned to each national central bank (NCB) in the adjusted capital key (hereinafter the ‘capital key weightings’).
La décision BCE/2013/28 du 29 août 2013 concernant les parts exprimées en pourcentage des banques centrales nationales dans la clé de répartition pour la souscription au capital de la Banque centrale européenne (1) prévoit l’adaptation de la clé de répartition pour la souscription au capital de la Banque centrale européenne (BCE) (ci-après la «clé de répartition du capital») conformément à l’article 29.3 des statuts du Système européen de banques centrales et de la Banque centrale européenne et établit, avec effet au 1er janvier 2014, de nouvelles pondérations attribuées à chaque banque centrale nationale (BCN) dans la clé adaptée de répartition du capital (ci-après les «pondérations dans la clé de répartition du capital»).

Decision ECB/2008/23 of 12 December 2008 on the national central banks’ percentage shares in the key for subscription to the European Central Bank’s capital (2) lays down the key for subscription to the ECB’s capital in accordance with Article 29.3 of the Statute of the ESCB and establishes with effect from 1 January 2009 the weightings assigned to each national central bank in the capital key (hereinafter the ‘capital key weightings’).
La décision BCE/2008/23 du 12 décembre 2008 concernant les parts exprimées en pourcentage des banques centrales nationales dans la clé de répartition pour la souscription au capital de la Banque centrale européenne (2) fixe la clé de répartition pour la souscription au capital de la BCE conformément à l’article 29.3 des statuts du SEBC et détermine avec effet au 1er janvier 2009 les pondérations attribuées à chaque banque centrale nationale dans la clé de répartition du capital (ci-après les «pondérations dans la clé de répartition du capital»).

29.3. The weightings assigned to the national central banks shall be adjusted every five years after the establishment of the ESCB by analogy with the provisions laid down in Article 29.1.

The increase shall be determined by multiplying the respective amounts then prevailing by the ratio, within the expanded capital key, between the weighting of the entering national central banks concerned and the weighting of the national central banks already members of the ESCB.

29.1. The key for subscription of the ECB's capital, fixed for the first time in 1998 when the ESCB was established, shall be determined by assigning to each national central bank a weighting in this key equal to the sum of:

10.3. For any decisions to be taken under Articles 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33, the votes in the Governing Council shall be weighted according to the national central banks' shares in the subscribed capital of the ECB.
