This bill has received endorsement from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the B.C. Association of Police Chiefs, the Office of the Solicitor General of British Columbia, the West Vancouver Police Board, the Squamish First Nation Chief Gibby Jacob, the Orchard Recovery Center, the Crystal Meth Prevention Society and the national council of the Catholic Women's League of Canada. It also received endorsement from many local governments in the riding I have the honour to represent, including Gibsons, Powell River, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Bowen Island, the Squamish- Lillooet Regional District, Squamish Municipality, Sechelt, Whistler, and Lions Bay.

The other area that I'd like to do a quick overview of is the fact that the Squamish Nation has had the opportunity to work with the Squamish municipal government, the West Vancouver municipal government, the District of North Vancouver municipal government, the City of North Vancouver municipal government, and the municipal governments of Sechelt and the Greater Vancouver Regional District.
