Upon considering the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council to codify Council Directive 77/311/EEC of 29 March 1977 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the driver-perceived noise level of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors, the Working Party, by common accord, noted that in Annex I, point 2.7, and in Annex II, point 2.7, the replacement, in the French text, of the word "reflétante" by the word "réfléchissante" constituted an adaptation to the existing text not identified as such by means of arrows indicating an adaptation.

The interim working party of high-level officials, established following the Council Conclusions of 17 December 1999, shall cease its activity on the date of the first meeting of the Committee set up by this Decision.

The latter was also involved in the approximation of the standards of the Requirements of the authorities competent to order interception of telecommunications imposed on network operators and service suppliers.
