* In view of the appreciable economic benefit but great practical difficulty of industrialization, the report adopted by the Joint Assembly in Namibia on industrialization of the ACP countries drew attention to the ways and means of using human and natural resources in the ACP countries, to achieve added value in the production of industrial goods that would immediately benefit the local population by creating jobs, increasing purchasing power, and stimulating supply and demand.
- Compte tenu, d'une part, de l'utilité économique importante mais, d'autre part, également des grandes difficultés inhérentes à sa réalisation, l'Assemblée paritaire a énoncé un certain nombre de possibilités et de moyens dans le rapport qu'elle a adopté en Namibie sur l'industrialisation des pays ACP susceptibles de permettre l'utilisation des ressources humaines et naturelles des pays ACP en vue d'obtenir une valeur ajoutée à la production de biens industriels qui profitent directement à la population par la création d'emplois, l'augmentation du pouvoir d'achat, la stimulation de la demande et de l'offre.
