Ukraine has adopted many legislative acts that have brought its trade-related legal framework closer to that of the European Union, and in doing so has enabled the benefits and opportunities offered by the DCFTA to start reaching the Ukrainian citizens.

8. relève les nets progrès accomplis dans l'adoption de dispositions législatives importantes en matière de lutte contre la corruption et se félicite de l'adoption d'une nouvelle stratégie et d'un plan d'action ainsi que la création d'une commission nationale pour les mettre en œuvre; souligne toutefois que la corruption est encore très répandue dans de nombreux domaines, notamment dans les secteurs de la construction, de la privatisation et des marchés publics, et qu'elle constitue un grave problème; relève en outre que le bilan des enquêtes, des poursuites et des condamnations dans des affaires de corruption reste maigre; souligne l'importance d'établir un cadre global et clairement défini pour la combattre, notamment en améliorant l'application de la loi sur le libre accès à l'information et la coordination des différents services répressifs ainsi qu'en instaurant une autorité unique chargée de surveiller et d'exécuter les obligations des administrations publiques ainsi que de donner suite aux plaintes déposées par la population (médiateur); attire l'attention sur la nécessité d'appliquer réellement les textes adoptés en la matière afin de donner aux services répressifs de nouveaux outils de lutte contre la corruption; demande instamment que soit modifié le cadre législatif régissant le financement des partis politiques et des campagnes électorales en vue de garantir l'indépendance de contrôle des mécanismes de financement et leur transparence;

As regards its ability to take on the obligations of membership, Serbia has continued aligning its legislation to the requirements of the EU legislation in many fields, efforts which were underpinned by the adoption of a National Plan for the Adoption of the acquis.

19. se félicite que l'EPU ait incité de nombreux États à s'engager à respecter leurs obligations internationales, à donner suite aux conclusions et aux recommandations des organes de suivi des traités et des procédures spéciales, à soumettre des rapports d'évaluation aux organes des traités, à répondre à des demandes en souffrance relatives à l'invitation aux procédures spéciales, à ratifier des traités qui ne l'étaient pas encore et à adopter des dispositions législatives nationales visant à assurer le respect des obligations découlant des traités auxquels ils avaient souscrit;
