The Commission has approved the creation of a concentrative joint venture set up by Voest Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbH (VAI), a subsidiary of VA Technologie AG (Austria), and Davy International Ltd (DAVY), a subsidiary of Trafalgar House plc (United Kingdom), to produce hot connect systems for steel manufacturing plants.
