(28) The thresholds of Article 1 (2) of Regulation (EEC) NBo 4064/89 are met since the combined aggregate worldwide turnover of Alcatel Alsthom and Telettra is more than ECU 5 billion and the aggregate Community-wide turnover of each is more than ECU 250 million, of which not more than two-thirds is achieved within one and the same Member State.
