Senator Kinsella: Honourable senators, perhaps we could ask Senator Beaudoin and others with acute legal minds to focus for a moment on that point, the point being that, in committee, if I understand the notes I have received, the principle of an inspector being able to go into somebody's place, in our free society, is a serious invasion of the right of privacy and the right of the person to control his or her environment.
