1. 8. Where the audited entity has a nomination committee in which shareholders or members have a considerable influence and which has the task of making recommendations on the selecting of auditors, Member States may allow that nomination committee to perform the functions of the audit committee that are laid down in this Article and require it to submit the recommendation referred to in paragraph 2 to the general meeting of shareholders or members.
8. Moreover, to ensure the neutral selection of OLAF's management staff, guarantees exist in the form of the special composition of the Commission's Consultative Committee on Appointments, chaired by its Secretary-General with the participation of the Director-General for Personnel and Administration, but which also, to take account of OLAF's specific situation and interinstitutional mission, comprises representatives of the Court of Justice, Court of Auditors and Supervisory Committee and meets in the presence of an external consultant.

7. The Executive Director shall, following adoption by the Management Board, transmit the Agency's general report to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions and shall have it published.

The Executive Director shall, following adoption by the Management Board and by 15 June, forward the Authority's general report to the European Parliament, the Council, the Commission, the Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions, and shall have it published.
