Let us not forget that one of the reasons that Canada is what it is today or was six years ago was because, over most of that period of time it, was well governed and government had a role to play in catalyzing, working with, coordinating, collaborating and bringing the best out in Canadians and working with other governments — all these things that now are seeming quite novel because they have been so forgotten by this government.
