– (IT) Madam President, the Council has sent us a proposal for a decision that authorises an enhanced cooperation procedure in the area of the creation of unitary patent protection. The reason for this is that some Member States – including Italy and Spain – objected on a number of occasions to the adoption of the planned trilingual system of translation, which would end up becoming truly discriminatory, since it blatantly violates the principle of equal status for all official languages of the Union.
– (IT) Madame la Présidente, le Conseil nous a envoyé une proposition de décision autorisant une coopération renforcée dans le domaine de la création d’une protection unitaire par brevet parce que certains États membres – dont l’Italie et l’Espagne – se sont maintes fois opposés à l’adoption du système envisagé de traduction en trois langues, qui finira par être vraiment discriminatoire, car il enfreint ouvertement le principe d’égalité de toutes les langues officielles de l’Union.
