During Question Period in the other place on May 5 of this year, the Prime Minister was informed that Premier Bouchard had announced that the Province of Quebec would assist tainted blood victims to the tune of an additional $75 million towards the federal-provincial compensation package. The Prime Minister's response was rather telling.
