Unfortunately neither the European Union in its present guise nor the super-state outlined in the draft Constitution, with all its bureaucratic red tape, wastefulness and sluggishness, are capable of reacting in an appropriate manner to global challenges of a political or economic nature.
Malheureusement, ni l’Union européenne sous sa forme actuelle ni le super-État mentionné dans le projet de Constitution européenne, avec toute sa paperasserie administrative, son gaspillage et sa lenteur, ne peuvent réagir de manière adéquate aux défis mondiaux de nature politique ou économique.
