One of the CAPC recommendations was to push all automakers, not just the big three, to establish Canadian components purchasing offices and other initiatives, to put pressure on companies like Nissan or Hyundai or Kia, which sell billions of dollars of product in Canada every year, and you'd be hard pressed to find a single manufacturing job that they have created not directly through their assembly, none of which is done here, or even indirectly through their parts components purchases.
