After audits by my sector had revealed that investing pension insurance fund assets in special security-based investment funds was economically disadvantageous at the time, on the basis of audit observations drawn up by my sector the Federal Court of Auditors proposed new legal provisions governing such investments which were designed to ensure that the pension insurance funds, and, by extension, their insured persons/contributors, were not penalised economically.
