Is deeply concerned about the security of aid workers and personnel in conflict areas, and the increasing number of abductions and casualties amongst them, and calls on the belligerents to respect and protect aid workers and to allow them to carry out their humanitarian work unhindered; stresses that this concern includes in particular the treatment of local staff members staying behind after the evacuation of their foreign colleagues;
29. se déclare vivement préoccupé par la sécurité, dans les zones de conflit, des travailleurs engagés dans les programmes d'aide et du personnel de l'ONU et par le nombre croissant des enlèvements et des blessés parmi ceux-ci, et demande aux belligérants de respecter et de protéger ces personnels et de leur permettre d'effectuer leur travail humanitaire sans obstacle; souligne que ces préoccupations concernent notamment le traitement réservé aux agents locaux qui restent sur place après l'évacuation de leurs collègues étrangers;
