With regard to these networks – Mr Clegg’s report – I would like to raise two further matters. As regards the amendment on presenting regular reports, the Commission can accept a reporting period of two years. With regard to updating projects, all important updates will continue to be the responsibility of Parliament, and I would stress this, while the Commission will simply retain the capacity to introduce technical changes into the projects.

Clegg -, je tiens à soulever deux autres points: concernant l’amendement demandant la présentation de rapports périodiques, la Commission peut accepter une périodicité de deux ans; pour ce qui est de l’actualisation des projets, toutes les mises à jour importantes continueront de relever de la compétence du Parlement - je le souligne - tandis que la Commission conservera simplement la capacité d’apporter des modifications techniques aux projets.
