"1a. The appropriations relating to the revenue generated by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel established by the Protocol annexed to the EC Treaty on the financial consequences of the expiry of the ECSC Treaty and on the Research Fund for Coal and Steel shall be treated as assigned revenue within the meaning of Article 18.
"1 bis. Les crédits relatifs aux recettes générées par le Fonds de recherche du charbon et de l'acier, créé par le protocole annexé au traité CE relatif aux conséquences financières de l'expiration du traité CECA et au Fonds de recherche du charbon et de l'acier, sont assimilés à des recettes affectées au sens de l'article 18.

Welcomes the progress made in transferring the ECSC Consultative Committee's acquired knowledge to the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and, in particular, the fact that the EESC'S new Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCIC), which comprises members of the ESC and delegates from the professional organisations representing the coal and steel sector and related sectors, was established on 24 October 2002 and held its inaugural meeting on 28 November 2002; invites the CCIC to publish the findings of its deliberations on a regular basis in the official languages;

DECISION No 2/99 OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED UNDER THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN COAL AND STEEL COMMUNITY AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY ON TRADE IN PRODUCTS COVERED BY THE TREATY ESTABLISHING THE EUROPEAN COAL AND STEEL COMMUNITY
DÉCISION N° 2/99 DU COMITÉ MIXTE CRÉÉ PAR L'ACCORD ENTRE LA COMMUNAUTÉ EUROPÉENNE DU CHARBON ET DE L'ACIER ET LA RÉPUBLIQUE DE TURQUIE SUR LE COMMERCE DES PRODUITS COUVERTS PAR LE TRAITÉ INSTITUANT LA COMMUNAUTÉ EUROPÉENNE DU CHARBON ET DE L'ACIER

1. The Agreement in the form of exchange of letters between the European Coal and Steel Community and the Russian Federation extending the Agreement between the European Coal and Steel Community and the Russian Federation on trade in certain steel products for the period 1 July to 30 September 1997 is hereby approved on behalf of the European Coal and Steel Community.

L'accord sous forme d'échange de lettres entre la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier et la fédération de Russie prorogeant l'accord entre la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier et la fédération de Russie sur le commerce de certains produits sidérurgiques pour la période du 1er juillet au 30 septembre 1997 est approuvé au nom de la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier.

1. The officials referred to in the last subparagraph of Article 2 and in Article 102 (5) of the Staff Regulations, with the exception of those who before 1 January 1962 held Grade A 1 or A 2 posts under the Staff Regulations of the European Coal and Steel Community, to whom the measures provided for in Article 4 (1) are applied, may request that their remuneration be determined in accordance with the provisions of Article 34 of the Staff Regulations of the European Coal and Steel Community and Article 50 of the Rules and Regulations of the European Coal and Steel Community.

Les fonctionnaires visés au dernier alinéa de l'article 2 ainsi qu'à l'article 102 paragraphe 5 du statut, à l'exception de ceux qui, antérieurement au 1er janvier 1962, étaient titulaires des grades A 1 ou A 2 dans le cadre du statut du personnel de la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier, et auxquels il est fait application des mesures prévues à l'article 4 paragraphe 1, peuvent demander que leurs droits pécuniaires soient déterminés selon les dispositions de l'article 34 du statut du personnel de la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier et de l'article 50 du règlement général de la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier.
