The European Commission has secured a number of important undertakings from British Airways (BA) following the merger between British Airways (BA) and British Caledonian (B.Cal.); The BA undertakings are the outcome of discussions with BA, including high-level discussions between the Commissioner for Competition, Mr Peter SUTHERLAND, and the Chief Executive of BA, Sir Colin MARSHALL, which took place in the course of the Commission's investigation into the merger (see Annex for list of BA undertakings).
