This Framework Decision respects fundamental rights and observes the principles recognised by Article 6 of the Treaty on European Union and reflected by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, in particular Chapter VI thereof. Nothing in this Framework Decision may be interpreted as prohibiting refusal to confiscate property for which a confiscation order has been issued when objective grounds exist for believing that the confiscation order was issued for the purpose of prosecuting or punishing a person on account of his or her sex, race, religion, ethnic origin, nationality, language, political opinion or sexual orientation, or that that person's position may be prejudiced for any of these reasons.
La présente décision-cadre respecte les droits fondamentaux et observe les principes reconnus par l'article 6 du traité sur l'Union européenne et reflétés par la charte des droits fondamentaux de l'Union européenne, notamment son chapitre VI. Rien dans la présente décision-cadre ne peut être interprété comme interdisant de refuser la confiscation de biens pour lesquels une décision de confiscation a été rendue, s'il y a des raisons de croire, sur la base d'éléments objectifs, que ladite décision a été rendue dans le but de poursuivre ou de punir une personne en raison de son sexe, de sa race, de sa religion, de son origine ethnique, de sa nationalité, de sa langue, de ses convictions politiques ou de son orientation sexuelle, ou qu'il peut être porté atteinte à la situation de cette personne pour l'un de ces motifs.

6. Notes that a very substantial number of vehicles have been seized, confiscated and sold at auction, which it considers incompatible with the principles of the European Union's Charter of Fundamental Rights, and in particular Chapter VI thereof (entitled "Justice"), and not justified by any overriding requirements of enforcement and prevention, when the gravity of the infringement is taken into account; remarks that, as the Court of Justice has previously pointed out, as regards the 'irregular' use of a vehicle in another Member State, penalties other than confiscation are possible;
6. remarque qu'un nombre tout à fait considérable de véhicules ont été saisis, confisqués et vendus aux enchères, ce qu'il considère non seulement comme incompatible avec les principes définis dans la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l'Union européenne et en particulier avec son chapitre VI intitulé "Justice", mais aussi comme nullement justifié par les exigences primordiales de coercition et de prévention, si l'on prend en compte la gravité de l'infraction; remarque que la Cour de justice s'est penchée précédemment sur la question de la circulation "irrégulière" de véhicules dans un État membre et a relevé qu'il existait d'autres moyens de sanctionner cette irrégularité que la confiscation;

As for the second Danish initiative for a framework decision on the execution in the European Union of confiscation orders, this second initiative deals, as Mr Marinho has just said, with the mutual recognition and execution of confiscation orders in the European Union.
Pour ce qui est de la deuxième initiative danoise en vue de l'adoption de la décision-cadre du Conseil relative à l'exécution dans l'Union européenne des décisions de confiscation, celle-ci traite, comme vient de le dire M. Marinho, de la reconnaissance mutuelle et de l'exécution dans l'Union européenne des décisions de confiscation.

That is the reality, ladies and gentlemen: the confiscation of European democracy by European political parties which are entirely removed from the political reality of European citizens. This appropriation would be complemented by the funding system which would enable political funds to be reserved for these parties.
