I do not understand the Conservatives who are voting today in favour of the amendment by the Senate, knowing very well that if they held the line and that if they insisted at any rate on what had been adopted in committee, we would vote against the Senate amendments and the Senate would adopt it because there is already an agreement between the Conservative senators and the Liberals.
Je ne comprends pas les conservateurs qui votent aujourd'hui en faveur de l'amendement du Sénat, en sachant très bien que si jamais on tient la ligne et qu'on s'en tient à ce qui avait de toute façon été adopté au comité, on votera contre les amendements du Sénat et le Sénat l'adoptera puisqu'il y a déjà une entente entre les sénateurs conservateurs et les libéraux.
