I would ask him if he could inform me – or let me know if the information is not available to him – whether, when the negotiations are completed and a decision has to be taken, that decision will be taken by the Croatian Parliament alone or whether an opportunity will be given to the people of Croatia to decide by way of a referendum, as was the case in my own country.
Je voudrais lui demander s’il peut m’informer – ou me faire savoir, s’il ne dispose pas de l’information – si, lorsque les négociations s’achèveront et qu’une décision devra être prise, cette décision sera prise par le parlement croate tout seul ou si l’occasion sera donnée au peuple de Croatie de se prononcer par voie de référendum, comme cela a été le cas dans mon propre pays.
