Nevertheless, I believe we should be pleased to see the continuous growth within the Member States of a movement rejecting war, and positions such as that of General Schwarzkopf who, taking the approach of Erasmus, has just accused the Minister for war, Rumsfeld, of undervaluing the army and of relishing the idea of going to war, or such as that of the Democrat Senator Joseph Biden, who has accused Bush of promoting the greatest wave of anti-Americanism for 30 years.
Toutefois, je pense que nous pouvons nous féliciter de la croissance constante, aux États-Unis, de ce mouvement qui rejette la guerre et nous congratuler de positions telle celle du général Schwarzkopf qui, à l'instar d'Érasme, vient d'accuser le ministre de la guerre Rumsfeld de mépriser l'armée et de s'amuser à l'idée d'entrer en guerre, ou celle du sénateur démocrate Joseph Biden, qui a accusé Bush d'encourager la plus grande vague d'anti-américanisme de ces 30 dernières années.
