2. The size of a Norway lobster shall be measured as the length of the carapace, parallel to the midline, from the back of either eye socket to the distal edge of the carapace, and/or, as the total length, from the tip of the rostrum to the rear end of the telson, not including the setae, and/or, in the case of detached Norway lobster tails: from the front edge of the first tail segment present to the rear end of the telson, not including the setae. The tail shall be measured flat, unstretched and on the dorsal side.
2. La taille d’une langoustine est la longueur céphalothoracique mesurée parallèlement à la ligne médiane à partir de l’arrière d’une des orbites jusqu’à la bordure distale du céphalothorax et/ou la longueur totale mesurée de la pointe du rostre jusqu’à l’extrémité postérieure du telson, à l’exclusion des setae et/ou, dans le cas des queues de langoustines détachées, à partir du bord antérieur du premier segment trouvé sur la queue jusqu’à l’extrémité postérieure du telson, à l’exclusion des setae. Cette mesure est faite à plat, sans étirement et sur la face dorsale.
