Après la fermeture d’un site de stockage en vertu du paragraphe 1, point a) ou b), l’exploitant demeure responsable de la surveillance, de la communication d’informations et des mesures correctives, conformément aux exigences de la présente directive, et continue à assumer toutes les obligations concernant la restitution de quotas en cas de fuite conformément à la directive 2003/87/CE, et les actions de prévention et de réparation conformément aux articles 5 à 8 de la directive 2004/35/CE, jusqu’à ce que la responsabilité du site de stockage soit transférée à l’autorité compétente conformément à l’article 18, paragraphes 1 à 5, de la présente directive.

(7) This Regulation should apply without prejudice to the provisions regarding on-site monitoring in the field of State aid laid down by Article 22 of Council Regulation (EC) No 659/1999 of 22 March 1999 laying down detailed rules for the application of Article 93 of the EC Treaty(6).
