Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan agreed with First Nations leaders that the First Nations tax exemption is an Aboriginal and treaty right; yet, we were not consulted when the memorandum of agreement was being developed, and we were not included in consultations regarding the CITCA, the comprehensive integrated tax coordination agreement.
