TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

This communication is in line with the "EU-US Declaration on Strengthening our Economic Partnership" (PDF), which was adopted at the EU-US Summit at Dromoland Castle (Ireland) in 2004, during which the parties concerned put forward ideas on how to strengthen transatlantic economic integration. Reviewing and strengthening the partnership in this way can lend new impetus to relations between the EU and the United States.
Cette communication s'inscrit dans le cadre de la «déclaration sur le renforcement du partenariat économique» adoptée lors du sommet UE/États-Unis à Dromoland Castle (Irlande) en 2004 au cours duquel les parties intéressées ont présenté des idées sur les possibilités d'approfondir l'intégration économique transatlantique. Le partenariat revisité et renforcé est ainsi le moyen de donner un nouvel élan aux relations entre l'UE et les États-Unis.

This macro-economic dialogue will be enhanced with those partners that go furthest in their economic integration with the EU and be based on a review of macro-economic policies and key structural reforms.
Ce dialogue macroéconomique sera renforcé avec les partenaires dont le degré d'intégration économique avec l'UE est le plus élevé et s'appuiera sur une révision des politiques macroéconomiques et d'importantes réformes structurelles.

We are also active on the regulatory side: in the context of the review of the Multiannual Financial Framework, we proposed an amendment to the Cohesion Policy regulation in order to introduce a specific investment priority to support the reception and social and economic integration of migrants.
Nous œuvrons aussi sur le plan réglementaire: lors de la révision du cadre financier pluriannuel, nous avons proposé de modifier le règlement relatif à la politique de cohésion afin d'y introduire une priorité d'investissement spécifique en faveur de l'accueil et de l'intégration sociale et économique des migrants.

Supports the adoption at the EU-US Economic Ministerial Meeting of the joint EU-US Work Programme for the implementation of the Economic Declaration, which contains concrete activities in eleven areas to move forward transatlantic economic integration; calls, however, on both partners to engage in genuine implementation and deepening of this joint Work Programme with a greater and more ambitious sense of direction, long- term strategic objectives and a detailed timetable for the implementation of joint actions and projects that takes into account the specific role of independent regulatory agencies; notes in this respect that stakeholders from the already established transatlantic dialogues, including consumer groups, unions and environmental groups, should be more actively involved in the process of monitoring and reviewing the Economic Initiative and Work Programme;

It set the Competitiveness Council [1] the task of reinforcing the economic dimension of the Lisbon Strategy by asking it to "actively assume its horizontal role of enhancing competitiveness and growth in the framework of an integrated strategy for competitiveness to be developed by the Commission, reviewing on a regular basis both horizontal and sectoral issues".
