J'ai appris que, par quelque biais que l'on considère l'éducation, que la priorité soit donnée à la réflexion critique et à la flexibilité des choix professionnels des élèves comme c'est le cas au Japon, ou à la réduction de la pauvreté comme au Vietnam, au niveau académique des élèves comme en Thaïlande ou à la production d'une main-d'oeuvre ou d'une société hautement compétitives sur le marché mondial comme en Chine, tout le monde, depuis les ministres des gouvernements jusqu'à l'homme de la rue, considère que l'éducation est la clé d'une société forte, saine et concurrentielle et du progrès social.
