eHealth can really help empower patients. Europeans increasingly want to play an active role in decisions relating to their health. eHealth can give them the easy access to high quality health information that they need to achieve this. As part of its current eHealth action plan, the Commission will launch an EU Health Portal later this year, providing a “one stop shop” for health information produced by the EU and a gateway to the websites of national and regional health authorities and civil society groups in the health field.
Dans le cadre de son plan d’action pour la santé en ligne, la Commission va lancer dans le courant de l’année un portail européen de la santé offrant un “guichet unique” pour les informations de santé produites par l’UE et donnant accès aux sites web des autorités nationales et régionales en matière de santé ainsi que des groupes de la société civile actifs dans le domaine de la santé.
