– (SV) Mr President, as a Swedish Member with a background in the trade union movement, I would like to begin by endorsing what Hannes Swoboda said: if we are to avoid criticism of the Laval judgment turning against the Treaty, the Commission must make it clear that a free market in services is not a threat to the right of the trade union movement to take action against social dumping.
– (SV) Monsieur le Président, en tant que député suédois issu du mouvement syndical, je voudrais commencer par approuver ce que M. Swoboda a dit: si nous voulons éviter que les critiques de l’arrêt Laval se retournent contre le Traité, la Commission doit indiquer clairement qu’un marché des services libre n’est pas une menace pour le droit des syndicats d’intenter des actions contre le dumping social.
