[Traduction] L'hon.

[English] Hon. Paul Harold Macklin (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, it is a pleasure for me to have this opportunity to debate something that in my earlier days meant a lot to me, at least in the practical sense, because I was born and raised on a dairy farm, and today I realize the importance of all the complexities that go along with the process of protecting that dairy farm and the interests of the farmers in our communities.

[Traduction] L'hon.

(Return tabled) [English] Hon. Paul Harold Macklin: Mr. Speaker, I ask that the remaining questions be allowed to stand.
