This concerned essentially: (i) health indicators projects addressed to create a EU common list (ECHI) as well as to develop indicators in areas as diseases, health systems, pharmaceuticals, mental health, life styles, etc (ii) projects focusing on routine and sustainable data collection (e.g. Injury Database, Cancer databases), (iii) projects focusing on the improvement of mechanisms of health reporting (Health Interview Survey projects, Hospital Data projects), and (iv) projects addressed to improve or establish best clinical and codification practices.
