Revenue shall comprise, without prejudice to other types of income, total fees payable under the fees regulations, total fees payable under the Madrid Protocol referred to in Article 140 of this Regulation for an international registration designating the European Community and other payments made to Contracting Parties to the Madrid Protocol, total fees payable under the Geneva Act referred to in Article 106c of Council Regulation (EC) No 6/2002 of 12 December 2001 on Community designs for an international registration designating the European Community and other payments made to Contracting Parties to the Geneva Act, and, to the extend necessary, a subsidy entered against a specific heading of the general budget of the European Communities, Commission section.
3. Les recettes comprennent, sans préjudice d'autres types de recettes, le produit des taxes dues en vertu du règlement relatif aux taxes, le produit des taxes dues en vertu du protocole de Madrid mentionnées à l'article 140 pour un enregistrement international désignant la Communauté européenne ainsi que les autres paiements faits aux parties contractantes du protocole de Madrid, le produit des taxes dues en vertu de l'acte de Genève, visé à l'article 106 quater du règlement (CE) no 6/2002 du Conseil du 12 décembre 2001 sur les dessins ou modèles communautaires , pour un enregistrement international désignant la Communauté européenne et les autres paiements faits aux parties contractantes de l'acte de Genève et, en tant que de besoin, une subvention inscrite au budget général des Communautés européennes, section Commission, sous une ligne budgétaire spécifique.

The Committee on Citizens’ Freedoms and Rights, Justice and Home Affairs therefore proposes that plenary support the Commission proposals but, at the same time, calls on the Commission to present a proposal well before the end of 2001, consolidating all the initiatives designed to create an area of freedom, security and justice on the basis of Title VI of the Treaty on European Union and Title IV of the Treaty establishing the European Community, in order to strengthen citizens’ rights and fundamental rights.

In this respect, the Committee on Development and Cooperation emphasises that progress, albeit insufficient, has been made - in a sphere covered by cooperation in the field of justice and home affairs - in particular by the adoption of the Convention on the Protection of the European Communities' Financial Interests and its two subsequent protocols, the adoption of the Council act establishing the Convention on the fight against corruption involving officials of the European Communities and officials of the Member States of the European Union, and by the submission of a draft joint action of the Council designed to make corruption in the private sector a criminal offence.
