Links will be established with Eurobarometer surveys, the Information Society Statistics surveys initiated by Eurostat, the studies launched by the Information Society DG as part of the follow-up to the eEurope 2002 global action plan, and relevant research projects under the Socrates and IST programmes.

In addition to the financial envelope set by this Regulation, the individual statistical actions aimed at implementing the multiannual programme, including actions taking the form of an agreement between the national statistical authorities and the Commission (Eurostat), should receive, to the extent possible, appropriate funding at national level.
En sus de l’enveloppe financière fixée par le présent règlement, les actions statistiques individuelles visant la mise en œuvre du programme pluriannuel, y compris les actions prenant la forme d’un accord entre les autorités statistiques nationales et la Commission (Eurostat), devraient bénéficier, dans la mesure du possible, d’un financement approprié au niveau national.

In implementing this action, close cooperation will be ensured in particular with the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat), the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop), the European Training Foundation (ETF) and appropriate international organisations, notably the Council of Europe, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
