– (FR) On the basis of the report by my excellent Italian colleague, Barbara Matera, I voted in favour of the proposal for a decision on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for the sum of EUR 2.2 million in aid to Slovenia, which is facing redundancies in the textile industry.
– Sur la base du rapport de mon excellente collègue italienne Barbara Matera, j’ai voté la proposition de décision portant sur la mobilisation du Fonds européen d’ajustement à la mondialisation (FEM) à hauteur de 2,2 millions d’euros afin de venir en aide à la Slovénie confrontée à des licenciements dans le secteur textile.

– (FR) For reasons of solidarity with the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian Democrats) and Ireland, and on the basis of the report by my excellent Italian colleague, Barbara Matera, I voted in favour of the proposal for a decision on the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for the sum of approximately EUR 2.7 million in aid to Ireland, which is facing redundancies in the crystal sector.
– Par solidarité avec le PPE et l’Irlande et sur la base du rapport de mon excellente collègue italienne Barbara Matera relatif à la proposition de décision portant sur la mobilisation du Fonds européen d’ajustement à la mondialisation (FEM) à hauteur d’environ 2,7 millions d’euros afin de venir en aide à l’Irlande confrontée à des licenciements dans le secteur de la cristallerie.

– (FR) Given the numerous serious disasters in the world and their increasing frequency, caused mainly by climate change, I voted for the excellent report by my Italian colleague, Mrs Zanicchi, containing a proposal for a European Parliament recommendation to the Council on setting up a rapid response capability.
– Face à la multiplicité et à la gravité des catastrophes dans le monde, ainsi que leur augmentation en raison, principalement, du changement climatique, j’ai voté le très bon rapport de mon excellente collègue italienne Iva Zanicchi contenant une proposition de recommandation du Parlement européen à l’intention du Conseil sur la création d’une capacité de réponse rapide.

– (FR) I voted in favour of the own-initiative report by my excellent Italian colleague Mr Albertini, which makes a number of recommendations to the players in this sector to improve a situation that is deteriorating because of growing demand for oil and diminishing oil reserves, increasingly congested towns and cities, and a negative impact on human health and climate change.
– (FR) J’ai voté en faveur du rapport d’initiative de mon excellente collègue italienne Gabriele Albertini qui adresse diverses recommandations aux acteurs de ce secteur pour améliorer une situation qui se dégrade face à la demande croissante de pétrole avec des réserves qui s’amenuisent, des aires urbaines de plus en plus congestionnées, et un impact négatif sur la santé humaine et le changement climatique.
