Little did they know how much of a difference that could make to the spirit of a platoon. On December 15, Sergeant Kris Carter visited the school located at Bank and Mitch Owens in Ottawa to return the flag, complete with a certificate signifying that the flag did indeed go on a mission in the cockpit of a British Tornado airplane as it undertook an unknown assignment.
Le 15 décembre, le sergent Kris Carter s'est rendu à l'école située au coin des rues Bank et Mitch Owen à Ottawa afin de retourner le drapeau accompagné d'un certificat prouvant que le drapeau avait voyagé dans le poste de pilotage d'un avion britannique, un Tornado, lors d'une mission secrète.
