Until bread prices were liberalised in 1986 pa de payès was on the lists for the four Catalan provinces, whereas in the Balearic Islands there was only pan de flama (the common baguette-type bread) and the bread locally known as payès was not on the list.
En ce qui concerne les quatre provinces catalanes, le pain paysan apparaît sur les listes jusqu’au moment de la libéralisation des prix du pain (1986), tandis que, dans les Baléares, où un pain également dénommé «paysan» est en vente, il n’y figurait pas; seul le pain baguette (pain commun) apparaissait.
