Leroux (Shefford, BQ): Monsieur le Président, lundi dernier, suite à une question posée par mon collègue de Red Deer, le secrétaire parlementaire du ministre de la Défense nationale confirmait qu'effectivement, le Canada négociait actuellement avec la Turquie pour la vente d'avions de chasse CF-5 mis au rancart à la suite du dépôt du dernier Livre blanc sur l'examen de la politique de défense (1400) Sachant que les règles de contrôle des exportations canadiennes spécifiques à la technologie d'armes de guerre relèvent du ministère des Affaires étrangères, quelle assurance le gouvernement peut-il donner à la population canadienne et québécoise que ces avions de chasse canadiens ne seront pas utilisés contre des populations civiles, comme c'est actuellement le cas des offensives turques contre les populations kurdes aux frontières de l'Irak?
