This was also made clear in the judgment from Frostating lagmannsrett, cited above, which held that excise duties should be paid where an unlimited liability type of company (‘kommandittselskap’) was converted to a limited liability company even if the same owners continued in the new company and the only real change was the form under which the company operated.
