I would like to draw the attention of the committee to the fact that since that time, there has been a huge increase in the budget of the community futures program.

These accessions do not strictly speaking count as “future enlargement”, since this round of enlargement has already been incorporated in the new financial perspective for the 2007-2013 programming period.

Since assuming this portfolio, we were pleasantly surprised by the high degree of acceptance that all community futures programs had throughout Canada.
